"Bookseeker" (May 10, 2001)
Something made me type the phrase in Japanese. When I was wondering what it meant, I saw the left part of the "Cat," the mark of "animal" ideographs, twitch like an ear of a real cat. Maybe I was tired. I went to the kitchen for a cup of tea.
Returning with a steaming cup in my hand, I saw the "Cat" trotting out of the screen through the right-under corner, carrying the "Fish" in its mouth. During my stunned gaze on the screen, "and" grew so bored----perhaps missing his connecting job----- yawned a couple of times, metamorphosed into "___", and fell asleep.
I have never seen the "Fish" since that night. As for the "Cat," I saw him hiding himself behind the "trash" icon last week. It has become a wild "Cat"---so I concluded.
